Members from our Student Leadership Programs joined us at the Bean and Pepper Jamboree to spread the word of the Kiwanis Family and raise money for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF

Officer Installation and Retirement Dinner

On October 3rd Immediate Past Lieutenant Governor Marie retired the outgoing Board of Officers. Lieutenant Governor Jan installed the new Board of Officers for the 2017-2018 Kiwanis Year. and new Kiwanians were installed as members of our club.

School Supply Drive at KCKC
Zone J Key Clubbers and Kiwanis clubs came together to collect school supplies for students in the Keys who will be returning back to school, after being hit by Hurricane Irma, the week of September 25th. With all of the supplies collected through this event, we managed to fill FOUR mini vans.

Scholarship Dinner
Four Pompano Beach Kiwanis Scholarships were given out August 1st at our Kiwanis Dinner meeting, to recent graduates of Pompano Beach High School. Each scholarship was $1000 totaling $4000 in scholarship money given out that night. The award was based on the students contribution to their schools Key Club and community service. Previously awarded to them before graduation was a Key Club graduation sash, stolls, and a Key Club medallion.
In attendance we had Kiwanis Division 23 Lieutenant Governor Marie Johnson, Key Club Lieutenant Governors for Division 23a and 23b, Key Club District Convention Chair, and Florida District of Circle K Legal Chair. Talk about a Kiwanis Family!
